Life is so weird.

Weather is weird.  Like, yesterday, it was sunshine happy days until it POURED so hard for about ten minutes and then lifted and the sun came out SO BRIGHT that you could actually watch the water evaporating off the porch and garage roof like steam.

Was at Jones Beach today.  It's been a few months since I've been near the ocean.  It is so much bigger than the Sound or the Bay.  It astonishes me that you can still hear it crash and roar from all the way ( Read more... )

I love Sunset Point.  'Adore' might be a more accurate term.  It is a little park jutting out over the sound, and it's as close to a community gathering place as we have in our assorted suburban neighborhoods.  I love it there.  People are always friendly, soaking in the beauty of the sound and the sun.  There are people walking their dogs, ( Read more... )

 I got myself lost today.  I did it quite deliberately--well, maybe I didn't get lost on purpose, but I knew that if I made the turn I would have no idea where I was going and went anyway.
